Are the companies interviewing for positions in areas other than where the event will be?

Companies have signed-up for an event because they have needs in that area. They may have needs in other areas but we won’t know about them until our company pre-interview the day of the event.

Do I qualify to interview with the pharmaceutical companies?

Pharmaceutical companies are normally looking for candidates with a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum 2.7 GPA, and current outside B2B sales experience with documented success. If you are a recent graduate, you must have demonstrated leadership in extra-curricular positions in college. In addition, some of the pharmaceutical companies require you to go to their website and complete their pre-screening evaluation prior to the event. If there are any pre-registration requirements with any of the attending pharmaceutical companies, there will be a link you can click on next to their company name on the event page, which will guide you through their process.

The companies will be from a variety of industries including pharmaceutical, business services, consumer products, financial services, industrial and more. Each company may be interviewing for inside, outside, and/or management positions. So, there will be opportunities for candidates with every education and experience level.

How do I post my resume?

You can cut and paste your resume from a variety of word processors. Plus, we have a text editor built in for your convenience. In order to ensure that bullet points and special characters format correctly, we recommend that you copy and paste the text from your resume into notepad or WordPad first. What should I expect at the event?

Once you arrive at the event, you will be given registration materials. You will then sit through a presentation from Sales Job Network where we will outline each of the companies and the position(s) for which they will be interviewing. Our pre-screener will look over your resume and let you know with which companies you are qualified to interview. From there, you will sign up on the sign-in sheets of each of the companies you would like to interview with and wait for your name to be called. As you are waiting, please review the booklet information to become more familiar with the opportunities. Once your name is called, you will meet one-on-one with a company recruiter for a short interview. Please bring multiple copies of your resume, as you will give one copy to Sales Job Network and one to each company recruiter you interview with.
